Inflation:

Steps - 3) Pump the two pillows to provide support for your neck, making you as comfortable as sleeping at home;
Steps - 4) Remember to close the two black knobs when fully inflated to lock the air in.
Note: Keep the camping mattress self-inflated for 10 minute and a few breaths to reach a full thickness in your first use.
Deflation:
Steps - 1) Turn on the knobs at the foot of the mattress, and open all valves at compartments and pillows to let air out;
